The girl's birthday is the same day of the mother's death anniversary, because supposedly, the mother died when giving birth the girl. At the end, is revealed that actually the girl is Montse's daughter, because after the mother's death, the father started abusing her, leaving her pregnant. This means that, at the earliest, the girl was born 9 months after the death of the mother. Except Montse and her father, everybody believes that Montse's mother is also the girl's mother, even the characters who know them before the mother's death. Not to mention that they would have needed to fake the girl's birth certificate with a date of many months.
