The missile that leaves the silo at the end is different than the one that is shown in flight that takes out the Super King Air. It is referred to as a cruise missile, but cruise missiles have fat, rounded bodies and a stubby little wings. This was a non-winged, slender missile. In addition, the launch facility was for an intercontinental ballistic missile, and not one for a cruise missile type.Also, the missile travels from it's launch point to impacting the target in 90 seconds. Thus, it traveled at an average speed of 40 miles per minute, or 2,400 miles per hour. Cruise missiles have a maximum speed of 550 miles per hour.
