At ~52:59 after Eleanor enters a private jet, she is told (by S.R. Hadden played by John Hurt) that she, Eleanor, was born 25th August 1964, and her father, Ted, died 10th November 1974, making her 10 years old (10yrs 2mnths 16days) at the time of her father's death.
However, earlier in the film (~18:54) when she is in bed speaking to Palmer Joss (Matthew McConaughey) she says her father died when she was 9 years old. For someone who graduated high school 2 years early and went on to graduate from MIT such arithmetic should not be a challenge.
