At 1.46, after the Russell family get out of the car, the road is solid snow. At 2.08, when John Russell looks back from the phone booth, both road lanes have clear tyre tracks in the slush. At 2.22, as the lorry approaches, both lanes again have clear tyre tracks. At 2.30, as the lorry gets closer, both road lanes are solid snow. At 2.37, as the grey car pulls onto the main road, it's pretty much clear, as it remains when the crash happens at 2.45.
