Henryk's body could not possibly have decayed to such an extent in the short while between burial and exhumation.Baron Sardonicus says that in the months following his father's death he and his wife had money problems. He doesn't say how many months, but obviously this could mean at least up to eleven months, so it may not have been a very short time until the grave was opened.
