When Terminator shoots up T-1000's torso for the first time, dropping him to the ground, the T-1000 regenerates and closes up the bullet wounds before standing back up. Careful inspection of his wounded body before regeneration, however, shows his entire right side unnaturally stretched and distorted due to the visual effects required to place bullet wounds as large as they are on that side of his body.
