Palmer and Kreutzmann meet on the observation platform of the Europa Centre building in West Berlin, and through the viewing telescope the camera subsequently pans down onto a view looking eastwards to the Brandenburg Gate. But from where the Europa Centre is located on the Breitscheidplatz they would not have been able to see the Brandenburg Gate from that angle - the only place where the camera could have taken that particular view is from the top of the Siegesaule.
