Right at the beginning after the title card at 0:35s mark in the movie, the boat crewman dressing a blue button shirt and wearing a white cap has short hair when he looks to the right after he checks the skies with his binoculars. At 0:56s and at 1:23s marks, however, he's is sporting a "mullet" of sorts as his hair is longer between shots.
