At about 1.05 min, as they are in the boat on the river Tony Curtis is rowing with only one oar at the back of the boat, but the boat is going too fast for just one person to be rowing that way. Also the oar is horizontal, hardly in the water at all when it would need to be vertical and fully submerged.
