There are references to "Buckeye", "Camelback", the Superstitions and Black Canyon, all of which are in the general Phoenix metro area. There are also scenes shot in Monument Valley, on the Utah/Arizona border, hundreds of miles from Phoenix. There is no chance that Monument Valley is in the same police jurisdiction as where the crime occurred.
