One of the radar operators on Air Force 412 states that he sees three blips (the UFO) at 11 o'clock. This implies that the contacts are 30 degrees left of the aircraft's nose. However, the blips are at the 11 o'clock position on his radar screen which does not necessarily correspond to the 11 o'clock position off of the aircraft's nose.
