When Vargas (Charlton Heston) arrives late at night at the motel, he asks the night man (Dennis Weaver), "What seems to be the trouble? The lights seem to be on in all the cabins." Yet there are no lights on in the office or in the cabins when they walk along to Vargas' wife's cabin.
