In the early battle scene, occasional random orange tracer bullets can be seen fired by the Germans. Two errors... 1. The German tracer bullets at Dunkirk were green, and, 2. Tracer bullets were only fired from a machine gun to see where the automatic fire was landing, and not from a single shot rifle as depicted in this movie.
