In the flashback of Hamunaptra, Rick and Benny are wearing the uniforms of the French Foreign Legion. Even with Rick's explanation that the battalion went into Egypt without orders, the presence of a French military group in a British dominion is not realistic, as it would have sparked international outrage and most probably started a war.
