When the bear is attacking Eddie in the woods Stache tells Eddie to "just tap out." While there is evidence of the "tap out" as a means of surrendering a fight in martial arts dating back to the 19th century, the term did not become common in popular culture until the rise of mixed martial arts in the late 1990's, 10+ years after 1985 when this film is set.
