Dr. Franks and Jericho are able to have a somewhat lengthy conversation, even though Jericho has just been sedated with 150 milligrams of intramuscular hydroxyzine, which is at least five times the usual dose. 25 milligrams of I.M. hydroxyzine, being the usual dose, makes a person very drowsy and disoriented, and can affect short term memory, making it somewhat difficult to carry on a conversation. So someone that has just been given 150 milligrams would pass out in a matter of minutes, and before hand they would be so disoriented they would not be able to carry on a conversation.
