During the final fight John fires a 40-mm grenade at the T-800 multiple times. These grenades have a minimum arming distance of 45-ft (15-m) but the opponents are closer than this. The grenades have a kill radius of 16-ft (5-m) and a casualty radius of 427-ft (130-m) and the explosion should have killed or seriously injured John.
