Laurie calls the police from Lindsay's house, 1987 Winchester Drive, and gives that address. Yet when the police arrive they immediately and conveniently go to 1960 Winchester Drive, Tommy's house - where Laurie is now hiding - despite it being on the other side of the street and several houses down. Some minutes later, responding to the same call, Dr. Loomis and Sheriff Brackett correctly arrive at Lindsay's house.
