When Warren and Larry are standing on the street with their ferns talking it is initially a very overcast day with only a slight building shadow showing near the curb on the other side of the street. Toward the end of the scene it is suddenly a very bright day and a very visible shadow has moved 2/3 of the way across the street towards them.
