After Memphis breaks off the passenger side mirror on Eleanor, the mirror hangs by the door. After driving off when he sees the police car, the mirror is firmly attached and aligned with the driver side mirror. In the subsequent chase through the pier, the mirror is shown to be hanging in close up shots, but attached in some of those farther away.
