The lead boys were told they needed to be with an adult to see the "Asses of Fire" movie but other kids somehow manage to see the movie (off-screen) and then they all watch the movie a second time without adults. The Ticket Taker is obviously annoyed and surprised, though, when the boys exit the theater for the second showing, thus explaining/ making reference to this anomaly.
