When Roddy enters Julia's dressing room, Archie (Ian Hunter) is sitting in a tall-backed armchair, and from the back view, his head can be seen above the back of the chair. From the front view, he is reading papers. In the next shot from the rear of the chair, Archie is nowhere to be seen, except for a plume of smoke. Cut to the next shot, and as Roddy approaches the chair from behind, Archie's head is now in full view, and Roddy hands him a cigar, which he smokes.
