The rifle Tim Nelson uses in the final showdown is a Winchester Model '94, which is not inaccurate in 1906, but the version used in the movie is an Angle Eject Carbine version introduced in 1982. This can be seen in the configuration of the receiver top, seen in closer shots of Tim when he confronts the outlaw gang.
