When Kasuf leads his people down in front of the pyramid to fight the two Anubis guards who have captured Kowalski, Ferretti and the local boys, the guards get off some shots and kill or injure a number of people before Kasuf's men swarm them. But why did the group at the pyramid not immediately rush the guards and stop them from firing? They just stood and cheered.
