Poe miraculously spots Jannah and Finn clinging to the side of the enormous command ship, and starts to go rescue them, but they would not have fit in his plane even if he had gotten there. They would have jumped on his wing just like they jumped onto the Millennium Falcon. He could given them a ride to the surface or to another ship with room for passengers.
