Just prior to the first qualifying event, Duke reads the rules. It pans to the racers and the GT racer in white with the mohawk on his helmet doesn't have a number plate. Then, the next shot is where the race starts and now he has a blue number plate with the number "2" on it. But, just after the turn where Bart comes off his bike to make that cool turn around the tree, that GT rider with the mohawk now has an upside down number "1" on his blue number plate.
