The Umbrella vehicle carrying Angela is completely totaled by a truck in the first act, which is where she goes missing. There's several things wrong with this. This happened in the middle of a metropolitan city road, how did this accident go unnoticed by the public? Another issue is that since Angela was the daughter of an important Umbrella employee, why wouldn't the drivers of the car have a communication system with Umbrella's high elite to keep track of their location? They would certainly notice that something is wrong when they stop responding and never contact them again (the movie infers that the crash killed them). Furthermore, since Angela survived the crash, why didn't she go to a nearby business or house and ask to borrow a phone to call her dad? She could tell him that she was involved in a car crash and needs to be picked up.
