It is stated at the beginning that the story is factual as portrayed. When Marge visits the dealership and is interrogating Shep Proudfoot, she asks, "You do reside there at 1425 Freemont Terrace, do you not?" This address does not exist, which may seem like a mistake but isn't. The movie is actually completely fictional, thus a fictional address is not a goof. Besides, even movies based on actual events rarely use real home addresses.
