(at around 1h 24 mins) When the Axiom returns to Earth and lands in its cradle, the outer hull is more-or-less pristine - still white, and the letters of its name clearly legible. However, the heat created by atmospheric friction when it re-entered Earth's atmosphere should have resulted in some damage or scorching to the paint, etc. While it is possible the ship was completely covered with some sort of tiles similar to what was found on the Space Shuttles, it is unrealistic to expect that it would remain perfectly functional after almost seven centuries of exposure to the micro-meteoroids and other hazards of space - not to mention that even with heat shields, early space capsules such as Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo still showed evidence of scorching after re-entry.
