Terminator removes the entirety of the skin and tissue of his arm and hand so as to show Dyson what he really is, covering up the missing flesh with a glove for the remainder of the film. The glove, however, clearly fills out as if covering a hand not missing any flesh and tissue, rather than one that is skeleton-like.
