The FBI supervisor goes to great lengths to disparage the local law enforcement agencies to Agent Gand, but when she is at the potential crime scene she handles evidence without wearing gloves. This error is repeated by the District Attorney and again by Agent Gand when they handle the letter from the suspect, and then a third time by Agent Gand when she is handed a letter from the suspect. Her actions exemplify the slang nickname for the FBI of Fumbling Bumbling Idiots.
