After Shrek finishes his story, Pinocchio claims that it wasn't him Shrek was talking about. Yet when Shrek shows him his 'conscience' he screams and runs away; indicating that it was him. Therefore, when Pinocchio said 'Uh that wasn't me. I've never had any bugs in my head', he was lying. Therefore his nose should have grown when he said it; as it did near the beginning of the film when he said 'Hey! I worked hard on this costume!'
