Chandler (Louis Sorin) says to Spaulding (Groucho Marx), "Tell me, Captain Chandler -- excuse me -- Spaulding ..." Spaulding replies "Spaulding, that's right. I'm Spaulding, you're Chandler. Let's have no more of that. It's bad enough being Spaulding." Marx may have been improvising in response to a real flub by Sorin, or it may have been scripted dialogue showing that the former fish peddler, "Abie," is having trouble remembering his own alias, "Chandler."
