Based on Peter Parker's description, everyone was revived at the location where they first disappeared. This would have likely been fatal for a number of people, such as anyone who disappeared aboard an aircraft or spacecraft, as their vehicles would no longer be at that location. It was later confirmed by the directors that, when Banner undid the Snap, he included that, when reviving, the other half of the population was placed in safe secure locations that would prevent their deaths. However, this is never addressed on screen.
