In the Jakku escape scene, Finn sits in the bottom turret of the Millennium Falcon, that gets immobilized, but the shot that blows the second TIE fighter up comes from the top turret. If Finn didn't climb into the top turret (we never see it, and it would be difficult during the chase), this is impossible. If he did, the stunt shot was unnecessary, as the top turret was never damaged, nor immobile.
