When the caretaker is looking at the model, he is escorted by a Sergeant with a full face bushy beard. The British army does not allow the growing of beards, only mustaches. Full beards are only accepted in the Royal Navy. Although some of the SAS do sport facial stubble and have some latitude in their appearance, this type of beard would preclude the use of a respirator, (gas mask)
