So the radar, fuel gauges and radio are all working. Anything like a GPS would not have worked. As Bennett said - no satellites. They would have still had compass and artificial horizon and any other electromechanical (gyro) navigation aids. They clearly know their airspeed and, knowing their compass heading, should be able to estimate their position without having to descend below the cloud to get a visual fix.
