The rear window scenery for various car trips is used repeatedly. You can see the same kids playing in the street in each shot. At 7 min Alan Curtis drives Elizabeth home from his office following her shopping trip. Again, at 49 min when Alan drives Elizabeth home from the train station. Again, at 1 hour 16 min as Freddie drives Alan home. Further, visible through the rear window, turns have obviously occurred but the driver rarely if ever turns the steering wheel.
