(at around 57 mins) When Major Reisman and his driver are coming up to the gate where the men will have parachute training, we see a brief glimpse of the guard at the shack on the phone. Then a closeup of the guard shows him with his weapon still on his shoulder. He unshoulders the weapon and calls to announce their arrival.
