Morris and Catherine, on separate occasions, refer to the Rev. Lispenard's parsonage being located "on Murray's Hill." They refer to this location as if it were generally known. Therefore, it's likely that they were actually referring to a section of Manhattan (that appears on maps even from this time period), as "Murray Hill, not "Murray's Hill." This section of Manhattan is still known as "Murray Hill."
