As the boys from the military school march through the town, Anna Lee's character succeeds in getting "Cadet Drummer Buford", as Basil Ruysdael's character calls him, not to go to the fighting. A few minutes later, when her son escapes the home and runs off, she calls him "Beaufort" ( or possibly "Bowford").So what. Two people pronounce it differently. This isn't a Goof.
