In the final scene, Joel -- who earlier had been shot in the derriere and was given an inflatable "donut" to sit on -- cringed as he sat on Garda's lap. But previously he had sat several times -- such as when he was tied up on the chair, when he was in the car, and on the edge of the desk -- without showing any pain.
