While Mike Enslin is lying on the floor, his hand goes in and out of the bed comforter repeatedly. However, as this happens with each change of shot and is a very obvious inconsistency, it's almost certainly deliberate and done for thematic effect. Especially as, moments later, he keeps changing between lying down and being propped up in between shots, apparently without moving.
