When Laura's lawyer speaks to her on the phone, she says that the court date (to make the Restraining Order permanent) is set for Thursday, but in actual fact, the court date was set for the 17th of February, 1988, which was a Wednesday, which assumedly was nullified by the massacre that occurred on Tuesday the 16th of February, 1988.
