Major Peatman is wearing combat dress but he has shiny metal (staybright) pips on his shoulder instead of cloth rank slides. As a Major he should be wearing a Crown, not Captains pips (as previously mentioned). His beret is a disgrace. It looks more like a helicopter landing pad than a finely shaped beret. He is also wearing a metal (junior ranks) cap badge in his beret, it should be an officers embroidered badge. Any self respecting Para would NOT wear the cap badge in the regulation position over the left eye, it should be closer to his ear.
