After puncturing and hooking into the back of the police car, T-1000 is shown holding on with his head down and without further movement, as if protecting himself, until the car has finished plowing through the gate and the broken glass clears him, but the T-1000 is a machine that feels no pain, and could clearly continue climbing up the back of the car, unimpeded.
