Suppressors work by redirecting and cooling hot gases exiting the muzzle of a gun through a series of small chambers or baffles. A solid stack of washers like Ghost Dog is seen putting together for his pistol would not allow for this process and would therefore not significantly suppress any rounds fired through it.
