In the final play of the climactic game, Joe scrambles and attempts to pass but the ball slips from his hand, bounces back to him and he throws for the winning TD.However, Joe's arm was moving forward in a throwing motion when he lost the ball and it was in reality an incomplete pass once it touched the ground and the play would've been blown dead. As time had expired ESU would've lost the game.
