At the beginning the telegraph operator repeatedly mentions about Morgan being on the train, but later the Col. says he never sent a telegraph but only mentioned it to his sister to mention to Taylor. Why would the telegraph operator repeatedly refer to Morgan possibly being on the train, including being with Taylor to see who arrives off the train. The Col. does say he never sent a telegraph until the telegraph about someone impersonating Morgan.
