A shipment of bottles from Canada is encased in crates bearing the maple leaf. The maple leaf has been a recognized symbol of Canada since the 1850s. However, Canada was still flying the Union Jack in 1933 and didn't adopt the maple leaf symbol, until October 22, 1964 and was proclaimed into law by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (the Queen of Canada) on February 15, 1965.
